The Vault Tampa Wedding // Mr. & Mrs. Watters

I know what you’re thinking, “Caroline! How did you get so lucky to shoot this straight-out-of-a-bridal-magazine-wedding?! Are these two real or was this a styled shoot?!” First of all, I KNOW RIGHT thank you universe! Second of all, these two are as real as the diamonds on Megan’s finger so buckle up friends! Once in awhile right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale. That fairytale began on the sea aboard the Oosterdam ship where JT was the entertainment director and Megan was a dancer in the cast. Fast forward to a year and some change later on Christmas night, Megan opened her stocking and found an engagement ring and JT down on one knee. I know right? Best Christmas ever! Back in Tampa I was lucky enough to work with Megan and JT for their engagement photos. You may remember them, the super hot couple in the ocean at sunset? Yup. Now imagine how excited I was to shoot their the Vault Tampa wedding! The day finally came on the most beautiful sunny and 75 degree Saturday in November. The girls got their hair and makeup done at the Le Meridien Hotel before walking one block downtown to the venue where the boys were also suiting up as well.

The Vault Tampa wedding venue is located in the heart of Tampa’s Downtown Arts District. The historical, neo-classical building was constructed in 1919 and was first home to the Exchange National Bank. Now revitalized, the space combines elegant architecture with a contemporary feel which made this wedding extra dreamy. Under the 35 foot ceilings along the massive windows that show all of Downtown Tampa is where the ceremony took place. Tears, laughs, vows, and rings were exchanged and sealed with a promise and a kiss.

The reception. was. lit! Remember, Megan is a professional dancer and so is most of her bridal party so the dancing I witnessed at this wedding was next level. What’s even more special is the band was comprised of musicians from the ship that Megan and JT both worked with and they absolutely killed it! Everyone was dancing all night long. I could really go on and on about this wedding day and this couple but I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking. There’s nothing but #smoothWattersahead! Love you guys!
