Rialto Theatre Wedding // Mr. + Mrs. Phillips

I’ve been anticipating shooting a Rialto Theatre wedding since I said “I do” there earlier in the year. It was so special to capture the start of a new love story just beginning in this historic building that personally means so much to me. Meeting Stacey and Daniel I knew right off the bat I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to capture in my favorite venue (yes I can say that because I got married there so it’s obvious). We started the morning with Stacey and Daniel getting ready with their closest friends and family before heading to the Rialto. Daniel grew up in Tampa but now himself and Stacey both call South Carolina home where they met. There were lots of special touches that made the details of this day so unique to this couple including a tribute to the brides dad on her bouquet, a local band from South Carolina, BBQ for dinner, and the most delicious setup of mini cupcakes ever. Prior to to the ceremony the bride and groom shared a “first touch” instead of a first look which was still equally as sweet. Their intimate ceremony took place in the back stage of the theatre where vows and rings were exchanged. Cocktail hour followed for the guests as I got to hang with the bride and groom to capture some amazing portraits around the block of the Rialto. So much history and color in one area where we made our way back to the infamous blue doors in front of the Rialto and into the reception. Stacey changed into a party dress which was so much fun and gave her a completely different look for the reception portion of the evening. Good food, booze, and an awesome band carried the rest of the night as the couple mingled and danced with their friends and family.
