Okay so what the heck is a milk bath session and why is it the latest trend in maternity photography? While I’m not sure how this trend came about, I’m sure happy it did! Milk bath sessions are typically done for maternity and some newborn sessions. Filling a bathtub with part water/milk and then decorating the water with a variety of plants and flowers is the basis of this type of session (I promise it’s not gross). Not only is it unique it also creates very artistic images a little bit different from your typical maternity photos. Coming from an art background I hope this trend is here to stay because I’m fully ready to embrace it! So, if relaxing in a warm tub while you get photographed sounds like your kind of thing- I’m your girl!
