There’s something incredibly special about photographing a family whose story you’ve been documenting from the very beginning. The Hollins are one of those families for me. I first met them during their engagement session at Picnic Island Park, then celebrated with them on their wedding day at the Fenway Hotel in Dunedin, captured the excitement of their maternity photos back at Picnic Island Park, and now (my favorite chapter yet) their very first session as a family of three with their sweet daughter, Alyssa at the stunning new Macdill 48 Park photos session. We met at the brand new park in South Tampa, and golden hour could not have shown off this space more beautifully. The soft, warm light wrapped around the trees and pathways, creating the perfect dreamy backdrop for such a meaningful milestone. It felt symbolic, in a way this fresh new park for a fresh new season of life. Alyssa was the star of the show from the moment we began. With her bright eyes and tiny smiles, she melted both her parents’ hearts (and mine) every time she looked up at them. Watching the Hollins settle into this new rhythm as parents was incredibly touching. The gentle way they held her, the shared glances full of pride, and the quiet laughter between them felt like a continuation of every chapter we’ve captured together, just deeper, richer, and even more full of love. We explored the MacDill 48 Park photos open waterfront views and walking paths, taking advantage of every hint of golden light. The mix of candid snuggles, tiny baby details, and joyful family moments made this session one I’ll always remember. It’s an honor to photograph families through so many seasons, and documenting the Hollins’ journey from two to three has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for them, and for Alyssa, who is already so loved.
