There’s something incredibly special about getting to photograph a couple through every season of life—and Nicole and John are one of those couples. From their engagement photos at Philippe Park, to their wedding day at the Barn at Crescent Lake, and now their maternity session, it truly feels like we’ve come full circle. I was honored to be their Tampa maternity photographer and document this next chapter for them as they prepare to welcome their baby boy. We chose Cypress Point Park in Tampa for their session—a location that gives the best of both worlds with serene beach views and golden grassy fields. To beat the Florida summer heat (and those unpredictable afternoon storms), we opted for a sunrise session. And let me tell you, it was worth the early alarm. The soft morning light added a gentle, dreamy glow to every image, and we had the park all to ourselves. Nicole looked radiant in a fitted blue knit dress that hugged her bump perfectly as we strolled the quiet shoreline and played in the wildflowers. The soft breeze, pastel sky, and calm waves made for the most peaceful start. After the beach, she changed into a linen, open-belly maternity set for the second half of the session in the sun-drenched fields. The look was effortlessly trendy and gave us a chance to capture some more playful, intimate moments between her and John. Watching these two grow from an engaged couple to nearly-new parents has been such a joy. Their love and connection have only deepened over the years, and this session was a beautiful reminder of the journey they’ve shared—and all the love that’s yet to come. I can’t wait to meet their little one soon and shift titles from Tampa maternity photographer to Tampa newborn photographer!
