Engagement at Picnic Island // J+R

I’ve been getting so lucky lately with all of these gorgeous couples that are down to get adventurous at their engagement session. Jessica and Ricky were no exception for their engagement session at Picnic Island! Initially we had our session scheduled in February, which typically is the best time of year (weather-wise) in FL. However, it was the day a massive cold front came through with freezing temps and wind gusts at 28mph. LOL yeah unless you want to be a frozen beach popsicle in all of your photos that’s not an ideal setting to get photographed in. We moved their session date to March with hopes of “slightly” warmer weather and we hit the jackpot. A gorgeous, cloudless, 70 degree day with a sunset to match! Jessica, Ricky, and I had so much fun running around Picnic Island Park for their engagement session and I think that energy is palpable in the photos. The water was a litttlleeee chilly to end in for sunset photos but like I said, I’m so thankful to have such adventurous couples down to get the shot! 10/10 loved working with Jessica and Ricky and I’m so obsessed with how their photos turned out.
