Madeira Beach Photographer // K+J

Call me a Madeira Beach photographer because this Tampa girl is trading her shoes for sandals for this beachy engagement session with Karina and Jon and oh my goodness, where do I even start?! There’s a reason they say pictures are worth 1000 words because, I mean, just look at these two! The love is oozing from these photographs and it was a dream to capture them. I don’t know if you can tell by the photos but Karina and Jon made this Madeira Beach photographer job easy. Minimal prompting and posing, just go with the flow candid goodness that I love so much. Slightly crazy plot twist though, I had Karina and Jon walking along the beach and all of a sudden Karina thought she stepped on glass. Never great but not totally out of the ordinary because human’s are the worst and leave trash on the beach and sometimes glass is one of those items. However, after closer examination it was in fact not a piece of glass left by a trash human (one point for humanity), it was a bee! A freakin’ bee! On the beach? Since when? I’ve lived in Florida my whole life and have done so many sessions on the beach, I have never once encountered a bee. It wasn’t even close to the sand dunes or grassy area which would make more sense. This bee was just chilling on the shore line right at the waters edge. What are the odds? It might have come from the Madeira Beach Snack Shack and got drunk on ice cream. I told Karina and Jon they should play the lottery that evening. Anyway, Karina was a totally champ and after a quick soak in the cold ocean she powered through the rest of the shoot until the sun went down over the horizon line. I still have yet to see the green flash from Pirates of the Caribbean, but one day I know I will. What an evening!
