Rusty Pelican Wedding // Mr. + Mrs. Avola
What a day, WHAT A DAY! September 4, 2021 was one for the books. 10 hours and 4 locations later, Molly and Jason’s love story was written in the stars (and cards, my camera memory cards that is). Their Rusty Pelican wedding day started at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Tampa with Molly and the gang, including her fur-baby Stella. ICYMI, Stella was the main character at Molly and Jason’s engagement session as she should be. After I photographed the girls getting ready and Molly’s stunning details, it was time to head to Jason’s room for suiting up, toasts, and group hugs. Then back to Molly’s room I went for the moment I always get so excited for, putting the dress on! As I predicted, Molly looked like she could walk straight onto a runway a bridal fashion week. Instead she gracefully walked down another runway at Christ the King Church where Molly and Jason’s full catholic mass and wedding ceremony took place. Father Bob has been in Jason’s family since the beginning and actually was the one who baptized Jason. So to say having Father Bob officiate their wedding was not only super special but a full circle moment. After vows and rings were exchanged, Molly and Jason officially became Mr. & Mrs. Avola! The party bus awaited as we were whisked off to the University of Tampa for their portraits. After slaying their photos as newlyweds, it was time to get the party start at their Rusty Pelican wedding reception! The rest of the evening was filled with heartfelt toasts, dinner, drinks, and dancing the night away with their closest friends and family from all over the US. I couldn’t have envisioned a more perfect day for two amazing people. Cheers Mr. & Mrs. Avola!
